The leaders of the country undoubtedly have a good choice of cars they wish to drive or use as transportation. Have you ever wondered what type of car the Prime Minister David Cameron uses What type of customising it has received

The cars that are currently being used a referred to as the prime ministerial car. These vehicles are currently armoured and custom built by Jaguar XJ sentinel supercharged 5.0-litre V8 models. These limousines are operated and administered by the Governments Car Agency- an executive agency of the Department of Transport.

It is stored and maintained at Downing Street, and they a driver by specially trained UKSF close protection drivers. This car is escorted by unmarked Range Rovers and Protection Command officers.

The car and its many details are for the most part classified, however the current jaguar models are estimated to have cost up to 300,000. Featuring a number of security updates, such as a 13mm explosive resistant steel plate underneath the body, run flat tyres and gun ports to enable bodyguards to return fire at any attacker.

There is also an independent, self contained oxygen supply to protect the PM and other passengers against chemical or biological attacks. There is a state of the art communication and conferencing system, HD TV, night vision and a 20 speaker Dolby 7.1 surround sound system. The vehicle is B7 level armoured and is understood to be capable of taking the blast of 15 kg equivalent TNT and sustained attack by other amour piercing attacks.

The car has 5.0-litre supercharged petrol engine producing 503 bhp with a top speed of 121 mph and is capable of reaching 0-62 in 9.4 seconds. This is slower than the original, but this vehicle weighs a substantial more than previous models.
