Nissan plans to unveil X-Trail Concept Car at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show
posted on Oct 01 2012 by Sam Jones
Nissan are planning to debut a replacement to the current X-Trail at next years Geneva Motor Show. A concept car is likely to be revealed in Geneva but a much unchanged version will go into production by 2014.
In an attempt to sell a single model worldwide, the replacement will be designed with a wider appeal to global markets. The new car, however, will hold on to its off-road capabilities despite the likelihood of a two-wheel-drive version being included in the line-up.
Statements from Nissan also suggest that we should expect downsizing in diesel engines and a likely lower-CO2 version. It also confirmed both five- and seven-seat versions will be available with an optional third row of seating.
Nissan also indicated the name of the car would remain the same.
