The New Range Rover: Autobiography
posted on Nov 08 2013 by Jade Hensby
Range Rover have unveiled their most expensive yet luxurious 4x4 to date with an even greater price tag of 140,000. As you can imagine the Range Rover is not aimed for you and I, or even the farmer Joe who would use these vehicles for his work, it is designed to be a top hit with royalty, top politicians and diplomats who need a chauffeur vehicle which is luxurious, but most importantly, a vehicle that is safe.
This is the first time in twenty years that Jaguar Land Rover has offered its customers a long wheel-base version of the Range Rover which will ultimately give its passengers more legroom but will only be available in the UK. This car boasts impressive features, a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 petrol engine which goes from 0-60mph in a mere 5.5 seconds and has a top speed of 140mph.
The most luxurious of this range is the Range Rover Autobiography Black which made its debut during the Dubai International Motor Show on 5th November 2013.
On the inside, this impressive vehicle certainly delivers. The luxury Autobiography Black offers rear occupants fully adjustable reclining first class airline style seats with in-built massager, champagne chillers, individual electronic tables in black leather, mood lighting (in ten colours no less) as well as luxurious wood and leather trim.
The Range Rover Autobiography Black features:
- Price tag of 140,000
- Height of 6ft
- Width 7ft 3 inches
- Length 17ft
- Engine size 5.0 litre supercharged V8 petrol
- 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds
- Impressive legroom space of 47.5 inches and 5 inches more than the standard Range Rover
