New Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Sports Coupe Interior Shots Revealed
posted on Apr 16 2014 by Kiri Nowak
Mercedes-Benz have released images of the interior of their much anticipated AMG GT Coupe. This extremely luxurious and powerful car has an impressive twin-turbocharged 4.0 litre V8 engine.
Feast your eyes on the pictures of this striking car, but only on the interior. Official images of the exterior are yet to be released. Expected to appear in showrooms in early 2015 or perhaps even sooner, this exclusive car will set you back around £80,000 to £100,000 or more.
It’s expected to compete with other successful cars in this class such as the Jaguar F-type and the infamous Porsche 911. The sneak preview images of the car’s interior have sparked a huge amount of interest and speculation about what the rest of the car will look like.
The interior of the new Mercedes is supposed to portray ‘modern luxury’. It has a touch pad COMAND controller and intuitive driving control systems. The car features four circular air vents in the centre of the car just below a state-of-the-art floating touchscreen infotainment system.
The interior is fitted with luxurious leather seats and has a bold, unique feel to it. Some say it has a distinctive sporty, racing car style design to it, which will make it even more fun to drive. Sit back in the tight fitting sports seats and admire the two-tone black and red leather seats.
The AMG GT is likely to follow in the footsteps of the Mercedes SLS AMG, although it’s not a direct replacement. Carbon fibre is used to reduce weight and to increase performance. Best of all it looks really attractive, sleek and modern. It’s what Formula 1 racing cars use for their bodywork. The GT AMG has carbon fibre trim around the four main air vents in the centre of the car and a carbon fibre panel in the centre console.
The new AMG GT is likely to be officially revealed at the Paris Motor Show in October. Click here to take a look at our range of Mercedes-Benz cars available to lease.
