Fuel prices are increasing, a must-know service to save you money!
posted on Nov 14 2012 by Sam Jones
Earlier this week Labour MPs lost a vote to postpone an increase in fuel duty. The Government comfortably won Mondays ballot meaning prices will rise by 3p a litre in January. This will affect all of us in some shape or form but here is a fantastic online service to help save you money despite the increase.
PetrolPrices.com is updated daily so users can find the cheapest fuel in their local area. Simply enter your postcode and the site trawls the prices of nearly 11,000 petrol stations from across the UK. The service is completely free of charge and could make each trip you take to fill up your tank cheaper by up to 10p a litre, saving you hundreds of pounds over the course of a year.
No more driving around trying to find the cheapest petrol station and making a mental note of the prices. They also have an app if you're on the move although we wouldn't recommend using it whilst driving. They also cover latest supermarket petrol price wars as well as all the latest fuel related news.
