Kia to debut new Proceed GT at 2013 Geneva motor show
posted on Oct 24 2012 by Sam Jones
Korean manufacturer Kia is to launch at least two, possibly three, new high performance GT models next year. This includes the 1.6-litre turbo petrol three-door and five-door hatchbacks and perhaps an estate car version.
The 200bhp three-door and five-door variations are set to be debuted at the March 2013 Geneva motor show kitted with 18-inch alloy wheels, coloured brake callipers and bespoke body kits. Three-door models will also flaunt signature interior details, such as stitched leather Recaro seats, to mark Kias entry into the hot hatch market. The GT models are expected to be available in stand-alone hot paint finishes, much like the Ford ST spectrum range.
A new Ceed Sportswagon GT is also on the cards but Kia are tracking Fords success with the Focus ST estate before confirming anything.
