F1 Champions to donate race suits for charity auction next month

The 2012 Formula One season has been the first in history to have six world champions on its grid, with 14 world titles between them. It truly has been a special year for the world’s most famous motorsport and it could end even better for some lucky fans.

Each of the six F1 champions competing this year has donated a race suit, as well as other items such as signed prints or race gloves, to be auctioned off to raise money for the Wings of Life spinal cord injury research charity. This has given avid Formula One fans the opportunity to add a famous pair of overalls worn and signed by either Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso or Kimi Raikkonen to their collection of F1 memorabilia.

Bonhams Automobilia Auction will take place on December 3 with prospective buyers able to bid in person, by phone or online. And remember, it’s for a great cause!
