Clarkson Suspended from BBC - Top Gear Cancelled
posted on Mar 11 2015 by Josh Seymour
Jeremy Clarkson and comrades James May and Richard Hammond are what we look forward to on a Sunday evening for our weekly dose of outrageous car related entertainment. Now we're told the BBC will refuse to air the remaining episodes of this series due to a “fracas” between Clarkson and a Top Gear producer.
There are plenty of rumours flying around right now but here’s what we know so far:
First and foremost Clarkson doesn’t seem to worried about whatever it might be about, having been reported saying to The Sun “I’m having a nice cold pint and waiting for this to blow over” in true Clarkson style.
Jeremy may have punched someone, The Mirror have alleged here that he punched Oisin Tymon over a catering related argument. Now as much as a long day at work might make anyone a tad grumpy, would Clarkson be throwing punches just because of a lack of food at the end of it? Surely there is more to this that we are just not aware of yet? A fracas can be anything from a serious punch-up to a strong worded argument so we will have to wait and see as no one really knows right now.
One thing is for sure, the BBC are serious that no more Top Gear episodes are going to air. As much as the BBC are looking to punish Jeremy for his behaviour, it’s us the fans that are missing out. We might be able to enjoy a nice film instead like 633 Squadron or Last of the Summer Wine following James and Hammond joking about it over Twitter recently.
