CAP sold to private equity firm

CAP's current owner, formerly known as Emap International, has announced that it has reached an agreement with Montagu Private Equity over the sale of the data company, with the deal expected to be finally sealed later in this month.

Under new ownership, the car data firm intends to continue its current operation and expand into new market segments. Ian Rendle, General Manager of CAP said: "All of CAP's products are based on our expertise within the market place, our close relationships within the industry and our dedication to develop key business solutions for our customers.
