Britain’s Got Talent - Judges Cars
posted on Apr 17 2015 by Kiri Nowak
Britain’s Got Talent 2015 has kicked off, so we thought we would be nosy and see what kind of cars the judges are driving. We have seen numerous acts take to the stage in a bid to impress the one and only Simon Cowell and his team of judges, all hoping to win the competition. The judges get paid big bucks to decide whether or not they think people make the cut, so they must be able to afford a few nice cars between them?
The judges usually turn up to the auditions individually in some very flashy cars. Although this is just part of putting on a show, they don’t actually own these cars. Here are some of the cars that Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon have chosen to ride around in.
Simon Cowell is somewhat of a car collector, he definitely enjoys fast cars as well as cruising around in some classics. He is known for his elaborate lifestyle both in the UK and in America. It’s difficult to include all of the cars from his rather luxurious collection, but here are a some of his best. Click here to see more of the cars in his collection.
The Bugatti Veyron set the record for being the world’s fastest production car in 2010, but it has since been beaten by the Hennessey Venom GT in 2014 which managed 270.49mph. The Bugatti has a top speed of 267mph.
The Bugatti is considered to be one of the most enviable cars in the world, only a select few lucky celebrities and billionaires are able to own one. Simon Cowell naturally had to purchase this impressive supercar, and it certainly doesn’t come cheap with a starting price of $1.7million.
Jaguar Eagle Speedster
Simon looks completely at home in his Jaguar Eagle Speedster, probably one of his most beautiful cars. This classic British convertible car set Simon back roughly £650,000. It can reach 0 to 60mph in less than five seconds and a 4.7 litre engine.
Ferrari 458 Italia
Simon’s car collection wouldn’t be complete without a Ferrari. He has a Ferrari 458 Italia in silver, which has a 4.5litre V8 engine and can reach top speeds of 202mph.
Amanda Holden admitted in an interview that she is a little bit of a boy racer, and she admitted to having points on her licence for speeding. She also said her favourite car that she ever owned was a Morris Minor 1000, but her husband won’t allow her to drive a car like this as it’s not very safe. In 2011, she was involved in a car accident in her creme Mini Cooper. She has also been spotted driving a BMW X5 and a Bentley.
This funny man has owned a few flashy cars over the years, but it’s very rare to see him in any of them. Some of the cars he has owned include a trusty Range Rover and a stunning vintage Aston Martin. After his recent split with his wife Lara Stone we expect he might treat himself to a nice new ride. Watch this space.
It’s pretty difficult to track down which cars Alesha Dixon owns but the singer and dancer has had her fair share of partnerships with car manufacturers. She has signed deals with various car brands over the years including Ford. She unveiled the new Ford Fiesta Zetec S at the British International Motor Show in 2008. Perhaps Alesha is also passionate about the environment as she has also been seen promoting and test driving the Nissan Leaf. She likes to arrive at events in flashy cars such as Mercedes and was also spotted cruising around Santa Monica in the US in a convertible Mustang with Fearne Cotton.
