Top 5 Best Selling Cars In January 2015

Car sales continue to grow for the 35th month in a row with the best January sales since 2007 according to the SMMT. A total of 164,856  cars were registered last month and that includes cars registered for leasing purposes.

Compared to last year in January there was a 6.7% increase year on year. Over 2.47m new cars were sold in 2014 , that’s the biggest yearly figure in ten years. The automotive industry in the UK is looking strong.

As the first month of a new year has come to the end we thought it would be interest to see which cars are proving popular in 2015. Here are the top 5 cars based on January 2015 figures from the SMMT (The Society of Motor Manufacturers).

1. A total of 8,674 registrations in Jan - Ford Fiesta
