Ferrari reveals prices for 730 bhp F12 Berlinetta
posted on Nov 29 2012 by Sam Jones
Ferrari has announced the prices for the new F12 Berlinetta and revealed that buyers are going to need deep pockets if they want to get their hands on one.
The front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive coupe replacement to the 599 GTB is going to cost a steep 239,317. However, drivers get for their money a 730bhp 6.3-litre V12 capable hitting 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. This makes the F12 Berlinetta the quickest road car Ferrari has ever built, lapping its Fiorano test track faster than the Enzo and 599 GTO.
The F12 uses Ferraris E-Diff sports differential and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Electric power steering, powerful carbon ceramic brakes and Ferraris adaptive magnetorheological dampers all come as standard as well.
A range of optional additions are also available such as a carbon-fibre number plate holder, carbon-fibre racing seats and Alcantara boot carpet. However its no surprise how expensive these extras are costing £1,181, £4,839 and £1,284 respectively.
