Now we can feast our eyes upon the huge selection of mindblowing cars that have been launched at the show. This year there plenty of awesome cars to admire, here are six of our favourites from the show:
1. Ferrari 488
- Turbocharged V8 engine
- 0-62mph in three seconds
This stunning car was a big hit at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This Ferrari is faster and more powerful than its predecessors and is designer not just to look flawless but to sound awesome too. It succeeds the Ferrari 458 and has plenty of new features. It has a brand new 3.9litre V8 engine with two turbochargers making it an extremely appealing super car for motor enthusiasts. Ferrari have been working on improving its dynamics by making changes such as decreasing the drag, and they swear it's the most aerodynamic Ferrari ever.
2. Audi R8
- 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds
- Aluminum and carbon fiber chassis
- Slightly more angular design
This high performance, second generation Audi was another car attracting a lot of attention at the show. It has a 10 cylinder, 5.3 FSI engine and the top model in the range manages 62.1 mph in 3.2 seconds and can get up to 205.1 mph. If you can't quite afford the top of the range model the next one down does 61.1mph in 3.5 seconds. This car has a new quattro drive system as well as a lightweight Audi space frame. This model weighs 50kilograms less than the model before it. You can expect to pay up to £137,500 for a brand new, top of the range Audi R8.
3. Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6
- Hybrid two-seater supercar
- Quilted leather seats
- Tighter exterior dimensions, updated headlights
It's pretty difficult to take your eyes off this breathtaking new Bentley. The new EXP 10 speed 6 has been perfectly designer to represent a classic British sports to rival cars such as the Jaguar F-type. It was designed by Sangyup Lee and Brett Boydell and they admitted that it has heavy British influences. Bentley have described the car as a 'British interpretation of a high performance two seater sports car using modern automotive design.'
It's an extremely luxurious car, which is obviously what you would expect from a Bentley. It has milled wood door inlays and gorgeous soft leather. This car is supposed to show the future of where Bentley can go, according to the guy who designed its interior.
4. Ford Focus RS
- Four-wheel drive
- Launch control and drift function
Although the Ford Focus isn't a flashy sports car, it has come a long way in recent years and lots of people were keen to see what the latest model would be like. This car is gifted with a 2.3 litre eco boost engine that delivers 320bhp. It has a fresh, sporty new design but retains some of the classic Ford Focus features. It has a huge grill at the front that helps feed air into the engine and helps to cool it. Most new features have been incorporated because they have a specific function, rather than for their appearance. This car is expected to be priced at under £30,000. This Mercedes-Maybach was perhaps not the coolest of cars at the show but it still turned heads. It's a luxurious car for a very specific client looking to get around in style.
