What the trade says...

Audi's A5 Cabriolet replaces the convertible version of the A4, though this is a more upmarket car than before. Unlike similar convertibles - such as the BMW 3-Series - Audi has stuck with a fabric roof, keeping weight down and saving valuable boot space.

It's still very stylish though and excellent hood insulation means it's quiet at speed. New fuel-saving stop-and-start technology, which cuts the engine when idling, makes its debut on the A5 Cabriolet, while there's also a high performance S5 version (covered in a separate review).
Elegant, refined and with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines, the A5 Cabriolet is a highly desirable car which looks great with the roof up or down
