The designers have made this Aveo a little longer and roomier than the Kalos and its basic underpinnings are essentially similar, and it has received a new-look front end - with prominent Chevrolet 'bow-tie' badge and peculiar wraparound, upslanted headlights - and a general overall refresh. The designers have sharpened their pencils and created an interior that is an improvement on the Kalos. You know from the outset that its not going to be a luxury-class cabin, but it's no where as cheap and plastic as that of the Kalos, and it looks better put-together. This Chevrolet Aveo is also pretty low-tech by modern standards - no over-complex electronics - thus boding well for reliability. The Chevrolet Aveo's dashboard and controls are simply laid-out, with a high driving position and a good view out all-round. All the dials, switches and levers are easy to find and understand. Standard equipment includes front and side airbags and Isofix child seat mountings in the outer rear seats, plus remote central locking and an immobiliser.
