It's an easy mistake to make if you're in a rush or have recently changed your vehicle -- but a serious one.

Fill your diesel vehicle with petrol or vice versa and the damage could be extensive as well as inconvenient. Add to that the inconvenience of having your vehicle off the road and the price of this simple mistake could be more than financial.

Recovery

We will pay up to £100 inclusive of VAT towards the cost of towing the vehicle to the nearest repairer to drain and clean the fuel tank.

Replacement Vehicle

We will pay up to £30 per day inclusive of VAT for up to a maximum of 3 days towards the cost of a replacement vehicle.

Repair

If mechanical damage has occurred as a direct result of Misfuelling, we will pay for repairs to be made up to a maximum of £1,000 (within the terms and conditions of the cover).

Replacement Fuel

We will also refill your vehicle with the correct fuel once repairs have been carried out up to a maximum of £60.
