2011 Budget Date Announced

The date for the 2011 Budget has been announced. It will take place on Wednesday March 23, 2011.

The Treasury confirmed that the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne will make his second Budget speech to the House of Commons on March 23 2011.

Earlier this year the Government confirmed it was scrapping the Pre-Budget Report, which traditionally took place in November.

For fleets and company car drivers this means they must wait until March to find out the Government's plans for benefit-in-kind and corporation tax.
